Drone Racing Challenge

Teams build or assemble a micro-drone and pilot it through 6 to 10 aerial hoops in a 3D indoor course. Junior teams (Grade III–VIII) & Senior teams (Grade IX–XII) use standard RC. Everyone can use quadcopter drone also. Speed + Precision = Gold.

1. 01Must pass through all gates (6–10) in sequence; missed gate = +5 sec.
2. 02Crash: pilot may re-launch from crash point (clock keeps running).
3. 031 lap of the full course must be completed in 3 minutes for Grade III–VIII, and 2 laps of the full course must be completed in 5 minutes for Grade IX–XII.
4. 04Only the pilot may fly — no coaching permitted during a run.
5. 05Safety check mandatory before every flight — prop guards intact.
6. 06Each team will be provided 2 heats.

• Fastest run (after penalties) wins the event, judged separately within each grade category.
• Each team will participate in two heats.
• The shortest time across the two heats will be considered the team's final time.
• The team with the fastest final time in each category (Grade III–VIII and Grade IX–XII) will be declared the Winner, and the second-fastest team in that category will be declared the Runner-Up.
